Our goal is to provide assistance to the care giving process wherever home is. Hospice services include care by knowledgeable professional members; the focus of care is to ensure the social, medical and emotional needs of the patient and family or caregiver. The family or caregiver also plays an integral part in the patient's care between hospice home visits. Home visits are comprised of a variety of factors based on the patient's needs with care available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Regular Physician Attendance
Here at FIAH, we are dedicated to making sure that you get the best treatment possible, and so we provide regular checkups to make sure that everything is as it should be.
Our nurses are trained to provide families with all the support needed while going through these difficult times. Registered nurses provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
Home Health Aides
Home health aides help people who are disabled, chronically ill, or cognitively impaired. They often help older adults who need assistance. In some states, home health aides may be able to give a client medication or check the client’s vital signs under the direction of a nurse or other healthcare practitioner.
Our therapists are here to guide you through any difficulties that you're facing during your time spent with us, and to alleviate troublesome emotions you may deal with while going through such events.
Social workers help people solve and cope with problems in their everyday lives. One group of social workers, clinical social workers, also diagnose and treat mental, behavioral, and emotional issues.
Chaplain services are available to give you and your family the spiritual support you deserve. They host religious events, relieve any concerns related to the soul, and are there to talk whenever you need.
Our Dietitians and nutritionists are experts in food and nutrition. They advise people on what to eat in order to lead a healthy lifestyle or achieve a specific health-related goal.
FIAH is always being contacted by volunteers wishing to help in any way they could. Whether it be supporting families or organizing events, our volunteers are there to help you just as much as the rest of our family is.
