Losing a loved one is a time of difficulty and great stress for families. And this stress is only compounded by the many hours of planning involved in coordinating a funeral. In our effort to not only provide exceptional care for our patients while they are here but to also provide comfort and support for our patients’ loved ones and family, Faith in Angels’ social worker can provide assistance and counseling during the process of planning a funeral.

Burial

Burial is the most common option for a funeral service when families are looking for a final resting place for their loved ones. Faith in Angels Hospice has assisted many families in navigating the process and paperwork of coordinating a burial for a loved one. This is part of our commitment to the family after the patient has passed.

Cremation

This is another funeral option where the standard level cremation service takes place in the days immediately following the passing, and without a viewing or funeral service beforehand. Most cremation services usually charge a higher fee for a viewing so many families hold a memorial or celebration of life service at a later date. Standard cremation services can range from $600 – $1,000 with additional costs for additional services. Although Faith in Angels Hospice doesn’t offer a cremation service, our social workers can counsel and assist you during your search and process of having your loved one cremated.
