Chaplain

Detail about our services

Faith in Angels Hospice is proud to provide chaplain services for our many patients and families who are in need of emotional and spiritual support. We host religious events, help patients spiritually prepare for the end of life, and improve a patient’s sense of overall comfort and well-being.

Ronnie Tan has been the Faith in Angels Hospice chaplain for over 4 years and during his time he has found that his biggest service to patients and loved ones in providing solace comes with the simple act of listening. Usually, patients and families are so busy with arrangements, medical bills, and caregiving that they rarely have the time or the inclination to release their emotions. This is where Ronnie has found his biggest impact.
Sometimes people just want to be heard when they are going through a difficult time, and our patients and families are going through the most difficult time.

Ronnie knows he can’t fix things, nor is that his role or responsibility. He sits with patients, prays with them, and allows himself to be someone families can rely on for emotional and spiritual comfort. He is not only essential to the Faith in Angels Hospice family but even more so to our patients in their final weeks and days as they prepare for what’s next.
